A & M Publishing

A & M Publishers is a small, independent company established by a team of entrepreneurs in the field of entertainment, marketing, social media, and the publishing industry for 2 purposes:

1. To publish and market titles that we believe have a large U.P. side (Unlimited Potential).

2. To help launch the careers of new authors.

We define U.P. as high-concept books that our associates in the entertainment industry might consider optioning as major motion pictures and for television as well as authors with a large social media following. Our approach is to brand the project in all phases of the entertainment industry in order to drive sales to booksellers. For example, our first published title MEG (completely rewritten and expanded by NY Times best-selling author Steve Alten) has been greenlit as a major motion picture (starring Jason Statham) is being used in thousands of high schools across the United States, AND is being developed as a theme park.

We call this U.P.

At the same time, we have created a launch program for new authors who have had challenges in finding a literary agent. This is a hybrid program – part self-publishing/part traditional in that our editorial staff will work with the new writer to improve the manuscript while allowing the author to maintain all rights. Each project is handled on a one-on-one basis.
